From 1st – 12th  October, work stopped whilst families celebrated the Dashain Festival (read more about the Dashain Festival here).

Prior to the holidays we held the next planned training session, which was Operation, Repair and Maintenance Training for the Water Users Committee, to enable them to maintain the system going forward. Participants really enjoyed the training and we’d like to thank the trainers for another entertaining and informative session.

Work on the installation is progressing wonderfully with nearly 75% of the whole project now completed. We have nearly completed repair to the works damaged by the floods and have begun the foundation work to the wall for the suspended crossing across the Kali River. Installation of the storage tanks has also begun with the team making incredible progress.

We hope the community had a wonderful break with their families, enjoyed some rest, and we are sure they will be looking forward to beginning the final works to the project.
