Being one of the poorest nations in the world has meant that the vaccination rollout has been very sporadic! However, 63% of the population are now fully vaccinated and thankfully, the country has begun to welcome back tourists. To this end, Rabindra was recently able to attend Nepal’s government sponsored training course on Mountaineering and Trekking.

Rabindra was introduced to new trekking routes in the Western areas of Nepal, and participated in ice training – for those keen on a more adventurous experience! All travelers to Nepal are required to be fully vaccinated as well as all workers within the tourism sector. This will ensure that rural and mountain communities who have not had the opportunity to be vaccinated, will have the best outcomes for protection.

If you are interested in discovering more about travelling and trekking in Nepal, then Rabindra and his company A-one Adventures are more than happy to help. Let him tailor you an experience of a lifetime! All trips with A-one Adventures will ensure a percentage of your trip is donated to HLF to enable our ongoing work.
