This March, the Himalayan Leaky Foundation (HLF) teamed up again with the Janamaitri Cooperative to distribute seeds and provide training to over 500 women in rural communities. This initiative is a part of our ongoing Women Empowerment Program, which not only helps these women support their whānau but also equips them with invaluable skills to sustain the project and build their own sources of income.
The support these women receive is critical to their personal growth and economic independence, and we’re hopeful that we can continue expanding our women’s network in the future, reaching even more women in rural communities across Nepal. Together, we are making a lasting impact on the lives of these women and their families.
