As Nepal is such a multi-cultural and multi-religious country, Christmas is celebrated within some communities, such as the Christian community at Bhaktapur however in Buddhist and Hindu communities there is no celebration of this holiday. The Thamdanda community will not be celebrating this holiday time so there is no stopping the project work over this time.
The Bhaktapur community will again be celebrating by enjoying a shared lunch and presents as these pictures from a previous Christmas show.
