A huge thank you to all who donated to Clare in 2018 for her million-step journey. This raised over $1,000 and the money has now been donated to Community Child Rescue Centre Nepal. This home was established in 2006 with 6 abandoned children and today homes 19 children with three staff members.
Their goal of providing a brighter future and a homely environment to the abandoned, homeless and semi-orphaned children of Nepal, fits right into the ethos of Himalayan Leaky Foundation. Shelter, food, education and healthcare are the priorities. Padam Tamang, who is an invaluable member of the HLF team, is also on the Board of CCRC so we think it’s a perfect fit and look forward to continuing to support their invaluable work.
